About Me.

I began the art world odyssey in the streets as a youth, cutting my teeth in the fine art of graffiti. I consider graffiti to be 'Advertisements from the people". Living and growing up in America's capitalism, it feels like fear & buying culture is constantly screaming, mind deafeningly so. Graffiti represented a freedom, a protest, a way to create beauty in the torrid fuel of the industrial machine.

I have no formal training. I learned about different mediums and techniques after scoring a job at Pearl Art's & Paints San Francisco as a runaway, certified, juvenile delinquent.

My lifelong passion of incorporating the vibrant style I developed as a graffiti artist onto glass and other reclaimed "canvases" ignited once I landed in NYC in my 20s. This is where I dove into the gallery world, having my first solo show at Alphabeta Brooklyn in 2009.

Missing the colors, culture, and tacos of the West Coast, I again relocated, this time to my current long-term love affair, Los Angeles. On the horizons, an exhibition with my current series, "LAPD Algorithms in the sky", my latest love letter to the city of angels.

I have been featured in multiple art rags & blogs, as well as published in the reputable art magazine (t)here. I have taken part in the gallery crawl at the brewery, participated in multiple group shows, have pieces in private collections around the country, and I'm in the process of developing vinyl prints.

Onward into the future...
